Lake Superior Stream
This is a small stream that feeds into Lake Superior in Canada. It was a chance to take a photo of more of those rocks that I enjoy!

Lake Superior Rocks
I have always enjoyed the rocks on the shoreline of Lake Superior. These were on the north end of the lake and it was a wonderful assortment!
Fall 2010
This fall we drove all the way around Lake Superior. This is a 15 mile trail that we traveled on while we were in Canada.

Water Ski Show

The Dam at Linn Grove
Joan and I lived in Linn Grove for 6 years at the beginning of our marriage. Watching the Little Sioux River go through it's various seasons was always so much fun. I have taken photographs of the water going over the dam in many different conditions. I think this is one where the water is about as high as it has ever been when I photographed it. I am sure it was probably higher in 1993 but I did not photograph that so this is a personal record.

Male Cardinal
I enjoy feeding the birds in our backyard which is something that I do mostly in the winter. This little tree is only about ten feet from our patio window so I can set up the Nikon D3 with a 300 mm telephoto lens and really get some nice close shots of the birds. This little tree is close to the feeder so the birds like to sit in the tree deciding if it is safe to go onto the feeder.

Christmas Storm of 2009
Like most of the midwest, Sheldon received about 20 inches of snow in this storm. Joan and I went out just as it was starting to get light and had so much fun taking photographs of the snow. This photograph was taken with our new camera which is a Canon 7D.
